One of the most important tasks of the program and budget organization can be such as conducting economic and social studies and forecasting the country’s resources in order to prepare and adjust policies and long-term, medium-term and short-term policies, as well as annual budgets, study, review and plan. The country’s planning system and the proposal of policies and policies related to the general budget of the country were referred to the Economic Council.
Allocating the country’s resources for current activities and civil operations in the framework of development plans and policies, continuous monitoring of the implementation of programs and their annual progress, determining economic, social, technical and financial criteria to evaluate the activities performed in executive and performance apparatuses. The executive of the country and its report to the President and the determination of the competence and classification of consulting engineers and contractors and the continuous evaluation of their activities are among the other duties of this organization.
The other two tasks of the organization are to determine the criteria, criteria and regulation of the general principles and general conditions of contracts related to development projects and to determine the external loans and credits required for plans and projects (Article 25 of the Law on Plans and Budget).
